Doug was blessed with several new or reknewed jobs this week. We are most thankful. I had a good week and especially enjoyed rehearsing for my musical theatre recital next month. The ward choir was splendid today in church. It was fun!
BIG NEWS: I AM DONE BUYING DIAPERS!!
The kids were busy with their lives. Jared kicked butt in Scripture Jeopardy in YM. Elena got up early and finished her chores every day so she could play after school. Miriam is my assistant chef, she loves to help prepare meals. Mary played goalie on Saturday and LOVED it. She was fearless and pounced on the ball as soon as it crossed into her territory. I told her to do that. Doug told her to imagine the ball was Enoch in traffic. She didn't let any goals through. She has decided, after one half game of playing goalie, that she is going to play in the Olympics:) Arlene is finally recovering from two perforated ear drums, poor kid, learned right from left, and starts reading tomorrow in school. Enoch is getting more independant and wants to do up his own seat belt straps....which draws out our departure time.
Family Funny: Today in church, after I conducted the choir, I came and sat down on the bench. Enoch looked at my sweaty armpits and said with accusation in his voice "you peed yourself!"

I just love reading all the fun & quirky happenings in the Ellis family! I did however get slightly depressed when I realized that I will be buying diapers for AT LEAST another 10 years...LOL! :)
